The Moorland Exhibition of needlework, art, traditional and rural crafts is organised by Nutmeg and is held each year at the Princetown Primary School in Dartmoor, Devon, UK during the ten days ending on the August Bank holiday Monday.

THIS YEAR'S FEATURED EXHIBIT IS "WOOL"
We aim to show the hand processes through which wool passes from the raw fleece, to finished products and the many uses of wool, past and present.

SPINNING FOR BEGINNERS
DEVON GUILD OF SPINNERS WEAVERS AND DYERS
Learn to spin with members of the Devon Guild. Individual tuition. Spinning Wheels and all materials supplied.

MONDAY 19th A.M. 10am-1pm.
BEAD and WIRE CREATURES ALISON McCANN
No experience required. Make a Butterfly, Ladybird, Cat or Bug to use as a brooch, hair decoration or on your embroidery.. Materials list will be sent with ticket. All available at the exhibition.

TUESDAY 20th FELT MAKING ROSEMARIE SMITH
To compliment this year's Featured Exhibit "Wool" No experience required. Learn to make your own piece of felt to make a bag, surface decorate with stitching or beads or however you want. All materials supplied.

WEDNESDAY 21st. TATTING BEVERLY MAY
At the request of previous pupils, and those who missed the class! Beginners or intermediates. Learn to Tatt or improve your skills. All materials supplied.

WEDNESDAY 21St BASKET MAKING JACK COOK.
Beginners. Aim to make a Willow Basket in a day. The size will depend upon your skill and dexterity! Bring a paring knife, good quality secateurs (not bull nosed ) and a bodkin. (These items will be available in the class to share if you cannot.) Willow supplied at £5. at the class.

THURSDAY 22nd. A.M. 10am-1pm. SYLVIA McCANN.
KNITTING WITH BEADS AND WIRE OR THREAD
The ability to knit is essential. This technique is suitable for making little bags, vessels or an abstract piece of work to use in your embroideries. Materials list will be sent with ticket. All available at the exhibition.

THURSDAY 22nd. PAINTING ON SILK SHEILA MUNN
Beginners introduction to silk painting. All materials supplied

FRIDAY 23rd. NEEDLESCULPTURE SARAH PERRY
Some embroidery skills required. Create a beautiful, raised work, 3D effect Robin. Bring your basic sewing kit. All other materials supplied.

FRIDAY 23rd. OIL PAINTING-SEASCAPES. ALAN KINGWELL
Following last year's highly successful landscapes class, Alan will this year teach ANYONE (his word, not ours) to paint a seashore. Bring oil painting brushes if you have them, otherwise they, and all other materials will be supplied.

SATURDAY 24th. MACHINE EMBROIDERY TRACY CURTIS
Basic knowledge and understanding of your machine is required. An introduction to machine embroidery. Bring a sewing machine with DROP FEED, a 6" or 8" embroidery hoop, the inner ring bound with bias binding and the instructions for your machine. All materials supplied.

SUNDAY 25Th HAND STITCHED BOOKS BEGINNINGS
Basic sewing skills required. Make your own unique book using hand dyed fabrics, decorated with surface stitching. Bring basic sewing kit and hand dyed fabric and threads. Fabric and threads available at the exhibition.
